Que s'est-il réellement passé ce dimanche 29 février 2004 dans le palais présidentiel de Port-au-Prince à Haïti? Le président Jean-Bertrand Aristide a-t-il de lui-même choisi de s'exiler et de renoncer à son poste ou
a-t-il été contraint et enlevé par les forces spéciales états-uniennes? L'affaire n'a jamais été vraiment élucidée. Nicolas Rossier tente avec ce film de renouer les fils de cette histoire complexe qui met aux prises
les milieux financiers d'Haïtii, les rebelles infiltrés par la République dominicaine, le parti Lavalas, Washington et Paris et bien sûr Aristide lui -même, qui raconte sa version des faits.
